DAVID GRAHAM
THEATRE PRODUCTIONS
MUSICALS
David Graham's first musical production occurred even prior to the company being formed. It was THE WONDERFUL WEST END in 1990, staged and choreographed by Laurel Ford and produced before any other West End musicals compilation show had been created. Over the years it has performed in just about every venue in Britain and cast members have included Michael Ball, Marti Webb and Bonnie Langford.
There followed a number of
rock'n'roll musicals including
TUTTI FRUTTI and GREAT BALLS
OF FIRE (which played a short
season at the Lyric Theatre in
London) with Mike Berry and

three 60s musicals, TWIST AND SHOUT featuring Paul Shane and Mike Holoway, GLAD ALL OVER and DANCING IN THE STREET.

The Class of '64 was a band created for one of our tours and featured Chip Hawkes of The Tremeloes, Mick Avory of The Kinks and Eric Haycock of The Hollies.
Our most successful jukebox musical to date is HOLD TIGHT, IT'S 60s NIGHT! which has toured on and off for over ten years. There have also been 70s and 80s versions of the show and all three, together with others including SOLID GOLD SOUL (with a largely American cast) and SATURDAY NIGHT AT THE MOVIES have toured the UK and mainland Europe. THE MUSIC OF BURT BACHARACH also toured European venues.
Several 60s and 70s music tours featuring original bands have also taken place including THE BEST OF BRITISH RHYTHM'N'BLUES with The Animals, Georgie Fame and The Blue Flames and Cliff Bennett and the Rebel Rousers, MERSEYBEAT with The Merseybeats, The Swinging Blue Jeans, The Fourmost and The Pete Best Band and AN EVENING WITH 10cc with guests Gallagher and Lyle.
More recently, SONGBIRD, The Music Of Eva Cassidy starring Sarah Jane Buckley completed two extensive national tours.
